Our remit is to provide a 55’ by 12’6” residential barge with fixed wheel house to be used for limited cruising in the UK but with the possibility of being used in Europe in future years. The barge will be predominately built for residential use but must be fully self sufficient in services and fully capable of navigation. The interior will consist of galley in wheelhouse, bathroom, single bedroom and large open plan lounge area. The hull is to be of a true barge style rather than modified narrowboat without a well deck this space will be used to increase available accommodation space. The three boats below were built for similar requirements. |
